How to get more subscribers on youtube

Getting your first 100 subscribers on YouTube is hard work, and you may feel discouraged if your channel isn’t growing as fast as you want it to. But don’t worry; I’ve come up with a few tips that will help you hit the 100 mark sooner. Remember, there’s no real “formula” when it comes to YouTube. You simply have to put yourself out there, and be true to who you are.
1.  Find your niche.
Your niche is the focus of your YouTube channel. I’ve written a whole blog post on finding your niche here.
2. Post quality content.

You don’t need the most expensive equipment, but nobody goes on YouTube to watch a blurry video. Get yourself a decent camera (smartphone works too) and film in front of a window for the best quality.
3. Be consistent.
People need to see that you’re putting out consistent content because it gives them a reason to come back. When you’re consistent, your audience will subscribe so that they don’t miss anything.
4. Get your family + friends to subscribe.

Tell your friends and family to join in on the fun by subscribing to your channel. They can also tell their friends to support you. Word of mouth is powerful.
5. Create channel art.
You know that horizontal box at the top of your YouTube channel? Put art there. You can chose one from the gallery, or create a custom one. Either way, it’s one of the first things people see when they come to your channel. Make it pretty.
6. Engage.
Leave comments, reply to comments, and be interactive. Being interactive shows that you care enough to engage with your audience. I know you can’t reply to every single comment, but making an effort to reach out will get you more subscribers.
7. Share.
Use your social media accounts to share your videos. Most of you have well over 100 friends on Facebook alone.
8. Get creative.
Your thumbnails, titles, and content, have to be appealing in order for people to subscribe to you.
9. Film a popular video.
A popular video is a great way to get more people coming to your channel. Ideally, the more people that visit, the more will subscribe. I’ve come up with a list of popular videos you can film here.
10. Don’t give up so quickly.

It may take you a while to get to your first 100 subscribers. And that’s perfectly okay. The worst thing you could do is quit because people would see that you aren’t being consistent. The first 100 subscribers are the hardest because your channel is so new. Remember that the more subscribers you have, the more people will be inclined to check your channel out. So give these tips a try and don’t give up.
